My Treo 600 was only a hundred and fiddy bux off the e-bay – pretty soon you will see them on the side of the road and not even bother to pick them up…

  • I rode the bus listening to End.User and reading Cory Doctorow’s Someone Comes to Town, Some Leaves Town on my phone and missed my stop by a good fifteen minutes. I had to walk clear across down town to get work.
  • I spent five hours playing Space Trader while driving between Saskatoon and Calgary (I learnt that selling narcotics is a great way to make money in space)
  • The Palmasutra is sort of creepy, but strangely amusing. I especially like the annotation feature.
  • The camera is ultra crappy and I like it a lot… maybe too much: flickr.
  • Gameboy emulation works well, but LSDJ doesn’t load and nanoloops crashes and creates strange hisses and chirps (which is at least something). I’ve been using Firestorm.
  • Sometimes I talk to people with it.
